Security Foreces (Defender) Monument - Enlisted Heritage Hall

"Chiefs,

Thank you and all Defenders for making the SF (Defender) Monument at the Enlisted Heritage Hall a reality. They had some glitches with the contractor, but thanks to the persistence of TSgt Patrick Smith (currently deployed to Al Dhafra AB, UAE), and the Defenders of the 42nd SFS out of Maxwell, it is in place now. Please feel free to share these photos with the field; stop in to see it when you get a chance; and pass along our gratitude.

TSgt (Ret) John A. Collier

1932 - 2007

A lone bagpiper, John A. Collier (TSgt, Ret) pays tribute to TSgt (Ret) Harry Hubbs, a former USAF Security Service member who was stationed at Kelly AFB with John long ago. John is the former Chief of Security for the 6993rd Security Squadron, Medina Annex, Lackland AFB. Harry and his wife Anne, are remembered by John through his music at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetary, San Antonio, Texas.
